Holiday Scholarship Fund Drive
Twenty years ago, the Ingham County Medical Society Alliance started a scholarship fund. To date,
we have raised approximately $100,000 toward this cause. These scholarships are limited to
high school graduates of Ingham, Eaton and Clinton County.
Currently, these scholarships are given to:
MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine
MSU College of Human Medicine
Lansing Community College for education in the Health Professions
In the past, the money for these scholarships was partially raised through the sale of our Holiday
Greeting Card and other fundraisers during the fiscal year.
To save costs (former holiday card purchase, printing and stamps), special appreciation and a list
of the contributors to the fund will be shared in our January 2012 Alliance newsletter, as well as
e-mail to Alliance members and contributors. A contribution of $50.00 or more is encouraged.
We will not turn down higher amounts.
